Wine Tastings

Looe Valley Vineyard

Looe Valley Vineyard is nestled in a sunny valley, where the owners Charles Boney and Sue Brownlow have produced premium, handcrafted wine since 2013. They have two hour vineyard tours that are run by the owner Charles for an intimate, learning experience that concludes with a delightful wine tasting experience. We will see you there.

Polgoon Vineyard

John and Kim Coulson went from fishing to fermenting grapes - and aren’t we grateful. After buying a disused flower farm in Penzance they decided to embark on a new adventure to create their own Cornish vineyard. Now with many award-winning wines under their belt, they have also expanded into producing their own cider and juices. At Polgoon, there are two types of vineyard tours; self-guided and guided. Each tour ends with a tasting of their wines and you can even order some nibbles to accompany your sipping. Day trip sorted.

Cider Tastings

You can’t visit Cornwall without trying our infamous cider. Fowey Valley Cider is based in Golant on the banks of the historic River Fowey, handcrafting some of the finest spirits, ciders, oils and fudge around. Using only local ingredients, including apples from their own orchards, Barrie and his team have created an award-winning range of beautiful, delicious drinks that epitomise Cornwall in every sip. Join them at their Lostwithiel Cidery on the last Friday of the month, where you'll be part of a guided tour led by their  very own master cider maker Barrie Gibson. You'll get to learn how cider is made and all of the different processes to make their products. The tour will finish up with tastings of their products and a chance to ask any questions. Hiccup hooray.
