DELICIOUS HOME-BAKED BROWNIES
Wilderness Kitchen was founded by Justine Eavis, who worked for many years as a practising artist and art teacher before taking a change of direction to follow her passion for food and baking.
Initially she got a job cooking in an amazing and very busy cafe/bistro near where they lived in Somerset. That was in 2015, and in 2017, Justine and family moved to St Agnes on Cornwall’s dramatic North coast, where Wilderness Kitchen was to start.
Their garden really was a wilderness, and and that’s how the name Wilderness Kitchen came about.
From small beginnings
Always experimenting in the kitchen and having a particular love of creating treats, it’s here that Justine evolved and fine-tuned the recipes for Wilderness Kitchen Brownies – rich, dark, very squidgy, very fudgy, ultimately indulgent brownies, made with fresh, natural ingredients, many of which are sourced from nearby farmers and producers.
With each Wilderness Kitchen Brownie, Justine is sending a bit of Cornwall, a reminder of home and a hint of the landscape, the heather and gorse that surrounds them …that heady coconut scent that you get from the flowers in the warmth of the sun.
At Wilderness Kitchen, we love nature and want to do what we can to protect and enhance our environment. We reduce food miles by sourcing ingredients from local producers where we can.
We also choose ingredients that are natural and that come from farmers who care about the natural environment as much as we do.
All packaging used for Wilderness Kitchen Brownies is made from recycled material and is itself recyclable and biodegradable. When disposing of your packaging, please follow the guidelines for recycling in your local area.
