We brew dangerously refreshing craft lager cut with fruit. Jubel packs the refreshment of a fruit cider and sessionability of a crisp lager, and is vegan, gluten-free, and a sociable 4% ABV for easy-access. We might be the new beer on the block but all three of our brews have already scooped up UK Country Winner in the World Beer Awards.Beers: Peach, Elderflower, Grapefruit.
La Folie Douce
On a ski trip to the French Alps, we made two discoveries at La Folie Douce, a raucous après-ski bar. The first was a song used to close out the afternoon of après antics. The song was called Jubel, and the name translates to “a feeling of extreme joy”.
The second discovery was a beer tradition called demi-pêche; a pint of lager with a peach top. Demi-pêche had a cult-like popularity; delivering the juicy refreshment of a fruit cider, with the dry finish and sessionability of a crisp lager.
It took two years to develop Jubel, with the help of the UK’s twice-awarded Brewer of the Year, and after selling out of a batch at a music festival, we escaped our corporate careers to pioneer a new style of beer.
The Après Beer
Jubel was born in an Après bar and we exist to bring Après to the everyday. Après is rallying a group and letting loose. We’re the beer for drinking to the before and making a moment out of the after.
Après-ski. The cold one to crush after shredding the slopes.
Après-sea. The fresh fluid after a surf, swim or sun session.
Après-sport. The dangerously refreshing drop after all things sweating.
Après-adventure. The off-piste oil after scaling the summit or roaming off-road.
Après-work. The jar of juice to feel alive after the 9-5.
